I was hired by SheaMoisture to create a branding package for their "Fresh & Vaxxed" winter campaign. The events for this campaign featured styling lounges in largely African-American communities to get families looking good and vaccinated for the holidays.


I designed and executed a 1970's inspired visual ID. The 1970s era was at the center of the "Black is Beautiful" movement. This movement celebrated natural hairstyles like the “Afro” and the variety of skin colors, hair textures, and physical attributes of the African American community. Thus, I thought it was the perfect era to represent this event.
